Campaign of the Month: May 2022
Revenge on the Kraken's Bane
Sprey D'Eagle
Description:
Description
Sprey stands at 5 foot even, though with his muscular gymnast body and wings, he can occasionally be somewhat intimidating. He has the body markings of an osprey, with a white chest and dark brown wings. His face has white feathers except for a line of black feathers across his eyes that looks like a mask.
He wears a few different strings of beads, bits, and bobbles around his neck, and if asked he would gladly take your whole evening telling the stories associated with every single piece. Sprey also wears a separate beaded bracelet on his wrist with a bright blue stone centered in it, which he will often fondle during times of duress. Otherwise, his robes are simple, light, and perfectly reveal the muscles that he has spent his whole life training.
Sprey comes off as high-spirited, eager, and largely naïve. He’s seen much of the area around Raven’s Bluff and the Sea of Fallen Stars during his travels with the circus, and often uses this experience to try make others think he’s more knowledgeable than he truly is. Ultimately, he is passionate about his freedom, finding new exciting experiences, and connecting to others.
Bio
Sprey was born and raised as a member of travelling circus that makes Raven’s Bluff its home: Mooney’s Menagerie. Sprey had no parents raising him; rather, the rest of the members of the circus helped look after him and teach him as he grew. He was especially cared for by an old monk who trained Sprey as her martial arts pupil, and a fortune teller who made sure Sprey could perform tarot readings for others.
Sprey’s main performance was as an escape artist, deftly escaping ropes and traps just in the nick of time before some threat of death. However, after an accident during a rehearsal that severely injured his master, Sprey ran from the circus to escape his guilt but continue his journeys across the land. And, in piracy, found a community that often reminded him of the family he had left behind.
Characteristics
Personality Traits
I know a story relevant to almost every situation.
I’m a hopeless romantic, always searching for that “special someone.”
Ideal
The stories, legends, and songs of the past must never be forgotten, for they teach us who we are.
Bond
I would do anything for the other members of my old troupe (and current crew).
Flaw
A scandal prevents me from ever going home again. That kind of trouble seems to follow me around.
Sometimes I will stubbornly refuse to stop talking over others.
Orientation & Preferences
Sprey would describe himself as gay, but ultimately he’s able to connect to anyone emotionally and physically. He loves to be tied or held down, and is always excited to try something new in the bedroom. He’s always willing to try something at least twice.
Beyond a certain preference for a brawny partner he can wrestle for dominance with (and ultimately give in to his partner(s)), Sprey will gladly bed anyone he connects with.
